What makes our approach to LGBTQ+ education unique is by incorporating an intersectional lens that includes race and class into the experiences, and outcomes of members of our community. We believe its important to incorporate those frames into our work.
Embodiment Tools for LGBTQ+ Education
Using somatic based and embodiment tools within our curriculums gives participants tools and opportunities to reflect on the sometimes complex information in our training and workshops. We see the benefits of using a somatic based approach to get participants to have a deeper reflection on where bias might be in their bodies, where information is landing within them and how to approach integrating new information in to their lives.
